BENGALURU: Repeated WhatsApp calls to her home-country helped police and different companies monitor down a Pakistani teenager staying illegally in Bengaluru.
Iqra Jeevani, 19, from Hyderabad in Pakistan, was arrested by Bellandur police final week. Her husband Mulayam Singh Yadav, a safety guard within the metropolis and from Uttar Pradesh, was additionally arrested.
Yadav mentioned he met Jeevani in 2022 by a gaming app and fell in love. In November 2022, Yadav met her in Nepal and each travelled to Bihar. Police mentioned Jeevani modified her identify to Rava Yadav and landed in Bengaluru in mid-December and lived in Bellandur.
Jeevani had an Aadhaar card and utilized for a passport. “Jeevani was lacking her dad and mom and siblings. Nearly daily, she would make a WhatsApp name to her household and Intelligence Bureau (IB) sleuths traced the calls and zeroed in on the couple,” sources mentioned.
