The Tamil Nadu Medical College has sought a report from Christian Medical School (CMC), Vellore, on the ragging incident of first-year MBBS college students.
Until now, seven senior college students have been suspended.
College registrar Dr Ashwath Narayan has sought a report from the faculty following media studies on the alleged ragging of first-year college students.
Notably, the Vellore police are but to register an FIR towards the perpetrators of ragging regardless of the police and Chief Minister’s Workplace being tagged within the tweet that had introduced out the ragging incident.
Dr Solomon Satheesh advised mediapersons that seven senior college students had been suspended following their alleged involvement within the ragging.
The scholars had been suspended following an inside inquiry by an inside inquiry fee constituted by the faculty. Nonetheless, the faculty is but to file a grievance with the police.
The celebrated faculty grabbed the media after the ragging incident went viral. Male college students of the faculty had been made to stroll of their underwear and water was sprayed on them from a home.
