Two bike thieves arrested in Madurai | Chennai Information – Occasions of India

MADURAI: The Madurai district police on Thursday arrested two males in reference to bike theft instances and seized 12 two-wheelers from them.
In a press release, Madurai district superintendent of police (SP) R Shiva Prasad stated a number of instances of two-wheeler thefts had been registered within the Thirumangalam City police station limits since October 30. A police group was fashioned to research and hint the suspects. On Thursday, the police group arrested C Palpandi, 30, of Theni and M Vijay, 23, of Tirunelveli. Each have been residing in Madurai.
The duo, who have been discovered to have been concerned in 12 instances of motorbike thefts, have been remanded in judicial custody.
The SP warned of strict motion in opposition to anybody indulging in thefts. Repeat offenders could be detained underneath the Goondas Act.
